As a company, Silent View Windows love to help out as much as we can, supporting charities wherever possible. We were recently humbled to have supported the second annual Theo’s Skate Jam, a heartfelt event organised by one of our employees, carpenter, Jordan, and his wife, Jessica, in memory of their son, Theo.
Held at Thame Skate Park, the event was dedicated to raising awareness for the charity Little Hearts Matter, which supports families and children affected by single ventricle heart conditions.
Theo was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, and tragically, Jordan and Jessica lost him in March 2023. In their son’s memory, they created Theo’s Skate Jam to bring the community together, raise awareness, and support families facing similar challenges.
While Silent View Windows played only a small part by donating toys and gifts for the raffle, the success of the day was truly driven by the dedication and drive of Jordan and Jessica.
Theo’s Skate Jam 2024 was a fantastic, family-friendly day that brought together adults, children, and skateboard enthusiasts under sunny skies. Skaters and scooter riders wowed the crowd with thrilling tricks and stunts, showcasing incredible skills and daring moves on the ramps. The atmosphere was vibrant, with families enjoying the action and kids trying out new skills themselves.
Organized by Jordan and Jessica in memory of their son, Theo, the event raised awareness for Little Hearts Matter. Thanks to the amazing turnout and generous donations, the event raised over £4,000 for the charity, making it a huge success.
We’re honoured to have been involved in such a meaningful event, thank you Jordan & Jessica for letting us get involved, we’re all very proud of you!
