The day the sun came out! Yes, Thursday afternoon we were treated to a couple of hours of sunshine when Silent View Windows took part in a 6-a side football tournament playing against seven other local companies at Oxford City FC Stadium.
Proceeds from the event supported Oxford City FC’s charity, ‘Oxford City Sport in The Community’ which, enables 100s of projects and 1000s of sessions of football and activity in the community.
The teams included; Silent View Windows, Frilford Health Golf Club, Fitlife, Leisure Focus Trust, Leonardo Royal Hotels, Ignite Training, BAMD Composites and Birchlake Recruitment.
Safe to say we didn’t do amazingly; a few minor injuries along with zero goals but, the team spirit was there & we showed up! If there’s a next time, we’ll be sure to schedule in some training sessions and include at least one sub…
Big shout out from us to MPS Workwear who, sorted our branded kit just days before; never lets us down!
