Silent View Windows celebrates team member, Jordans NVQ Fenestration success.

At Silent View Windows, we’re passionate about craftsmanship, professionalism, and continuous learning so we’re incredibly proud to announce that our skilled carpenter, Jordan Loak-Finch, has successfully completed his Level 1 Fenestration NVQ qualification through Total Support Training in Milton Keynes.

This achievement marks an important step forward in Jordan’s career and reflects the kind of dedication and attitude we value across our team.

The NVQ Level 1 in Fenestration endorsed by FENSA, the government-authorised scheme that ensures compliance with building regulations and industry standards equips tradespeople with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to carry out high-quality window and door installations. It’s a course designed not only for those new to the industry but also for experienced professionals who want to validate and sharpen their skills.

“I really enjoyed getting stuck into the course,” said Jordan. “It was great to refresh some of the things I already knew, but, also to learn a few new techniques and approaches. I’m looking forward to starting Level 2 soon.”

Jordan’s enthusiasm and professionalism are a credit to himself and to the wider team. It takes real confidence to return to a formal learning environment, especially when you’re already experienced on the tools. His commitment shows that there’s always room to grow, no matter how long you’ve been in the trade.

At Silent View Windows, we actively encourage and support staff training and professional development. Whether it’s pursuing formal qualifications, expanding technical expertise, or developing leadership skills, we’re committed to giving our team the opportunities they need to thrive. Jordan’s achievement is a perfect example of how investing in our people leads to better outcomes for everyone; our staff, our customers, and our community.

We’re incredibly proud of Jordan for taking on this challenge and smashing it. His determination and eagerness to keep learning are exactly what we love to see and we’re excited to support him as he now sets his sights on Level 2.

Congratulations, Jordan!
