Silent View Windows Shortlisted in Three Categories at the 2026 GGP Installer Awards
We are delighted to share the exciting news that Silent View has been shortlisted in three categories at the prestigious 2026 Glass & Glazing Products (GGP) Installer Awards. Being recognised at a national level within our industry is a fantastic achievement and a true reflection of the quality, care and expertise that goes into every project we undertake.
The shortlisted categories showcase the breadth of our work, spanning heritage, commercial and residential installations, and highlight our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional results across all sectors.
Best Heritage Installation (Residence Collection)
One of the shortlisted projects is the restoration of the former NatWest Bank building in Thame. This heritage installation required a sensitive and considered approach to ensure the character and historical significance of the building were preserved, while still providing modern performance, security and efficiency. Using the Residence Collection, our team successfully delivered a solution that complements the original architecture while meeting contemporary standards. Take a look at the case study here.
Best Installation – Commercial Multiple Buildings (Solidor Composite Doors, Liniar)
We are also proud to be shortlisted for a large-scale new-build development near Long Crendon Manor, Buckinghamshire. This commercial project involved the installation of Solidor composite doors and Liniar products across multiple buildings. Attention to detail, careful scheduling and consistency of finish were essential to achieving a high-quality result throughout the development, delivered on time and in line with the client’s expectations. You can find out more about Solidor front doors and even design your own here.
Best Feature Door Installation (John Fredericks Plastics)
Completing the shortlist is a striking residential door transformation in Oxfordshire. This project highlights how a well-designed feature door can completely enhance the appearance of a home. Working with John Fredericks Plastics, our team delivered a beautifully finished installation that combines strong visual impact with excellent performance.
Commenting on the shortlisting, Enis Evlat, Director of Silent View, said;
“Being shortlisted in three categories at the GGP Installer Awards is something we are incredibly proud of. It’s a real testament to the hard work, skill and dedication of our entire team. These projects represent what we strive for every day; quality workmanship, attention to detail and making sure every job is done properly, from start to finish.”
This recognition means a great deal to us because it reflects far more than the finished projects alone. It acknowledges the collective efforts of our installers, customer care team and sales office, all of whom work tirelessly to ensure a smooth and positive experience for every customer. From the initial enquiry through to completion, each member of the Silent View team plays a vital role in delivering high standards and long-lasting results.
We are especially pleased that this shortlisting gives our team the recognition they truly deserve for the commitment and professionalism they bring to their work every day.
We are very much looking forward to attending the awards evening in March in Manchester and celebrating this achievement together. Regardless of the final outcome, being shortlisted across three categories is an achievement we are extremely proud of. A huge congratulations to the entire Silent View team!
