Silent View Windows Director, Enis Evlat joins the Board of Directors for Oxford Rising Stars Ice Hockey Club

Enis Evlat, Director of Silent View Windows Ltd and Thame Builders Ltd, has joined the board of directors for the NIHL2 Ice Hockey Team, Oxford Rising Stars. His personal connection to the sport, including his support for his children’s development in ice hockey, has fueled his passion for contributing to the team’s continued success.
“I am excited to announce my interest in joining the Oxford Rising Stars Ice Hockey Team as a director. With my personal involvement in the sport, including playing recreational hockey and supporting my children in their training and development, I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact this team has on young athletes. As my children progress, they may even have the opportunity to play alongside the Rising Stars. Therefore, it is in my best interest to ensure the team moves in the right direction,” Enis shared.
The Oxford Rising Stars, part of the National Ice Hockey League’s Division 2 (NIHL2), have a rich history of nurturing young talent. Since their establishment, the club has provided a crucial platform for local youth to develop through league competition and receive mentorship from experienced players. This focus on growth has made the Rising Stars a vital part of the ice hockey landscape in Oxfordshire.
Director Paul Lynch expressed enthusiasm about Enis’ involvement: “After several discussions, we recognized that strengthening our board of directors would help take the club to the next level. Enis is passionate and brings fantastic ideas. He’ll be an asset to the club. With his children also playing in the Junior Stars, it’s great to have him involved, as both may follow the pathway to senior ice hockey.”
Enis aims to support the Rising Stars’ continued growth both on and off the ice, ensuring that the team remains a positive force for young athletes in Oxfordshire.
