Brief
As part of refurbishment works at Travelodge Norwich Central Riverside, Silent View Windows Commercial Ltd was appointed to replace approximately 160 windows across this multi-elevation hotel building.
The project formed a key part of a wider upgrade to the property, with a focus on improving performance, longevity & overall guest experience. Due to the nature of the building & its continuous use, the works required careful planning & execution within a live hospitality environment.
A consistent & reliable window specification was essential to meet the demands of a high-use hotel setting. The key objectives included:

All installers were trained for working at height &, where required, made use of harnesses & lanyards to ensure safe working practices throughout the project.

The replacement windows were fabricated by John Fredericks Plastics using VEKA Halo System 10 casement profiles & installed by our commercial team here at Silent View Windows.
The chosen system provided a reliable & high-performing solution tailored to the needs of a commercial refurbishment project of this scale. The specification included:

- Dual finish: Feinstruktur Silver Grey externally to create a modern, aluminium-style appearance, paired with a clean white internal finish to maintain a bright & consistent look within guest rooms
- Frame extensions where required to accommodate variations in existing structural openings, allowing for accurate fitting without compromising the building fabric
- Optimized ventilation options to support a comfortable internal environment for guests
- High thermal efficiency, helping to improve the overall energy performance of the building
